A Thought about Icons and Dialogue in Color with Contemporary Culture

The heart of the icon is located behind, not in front of the official curtain. The heart of the icon is the depicted Saint himself, and not the drawing or its color. You can always express something old in a new way. The heart of the icon beats in Paradise. It is the source of the circulating blood and life within each icon.
